i have a 1995 mercury 60 that suddenly started to misfire, i found one of the groundcables to a ignitioncoil loose and retightened it but the misfire is still there.
i have meassured resistance on the coil and the resistance on the primary coil should according to the manual be 0,02-0,04 Ohm and mine is 0,05, could this little difference be the source of problems or?

Do you have a switchbox and three individual coils, or do you have a CDM module (with an automotive style, multiple wire plug connector)?

If you have the three coils, it's quick to remove them and peel off the rubber boot. Often, the ferrite cores can crack on them. You can replace them from a junk engine or buy an entire new coil ass'y on ebay (ferrite cores are not sold separately). There are two different part numbers for the coil in 1995 based on serial no...

If you search, ferrite core, on this site, there is a pretty good write-up done on servicing them.
