It's a twin turbo diesel/hydraulic powered hand built motorcycle. Yeah, the engine is a small one but still this is a cool build, IMO.

Gotta love those who "think out the box". Reminds me the "Road Dog" long ago (and my stomping grounds too). This is about it, Buzz Walnick (Walnicks Classic motorcycle rag) lived a mile from me. And a great friend owned a Fab shop close us. Welded up my Dragbike frame. So I went west coast, 1994, and like 10 (?) years later Norm back there calls me. Guess whats in my shop? Damn, Buzz had found this, and Norm was doing some welding and fab it. And Buzz drove it? Pic and a link

But why?
Ive got an old Kubota B5200 tractor with a 3cyl 750cc motor. For years ive been eyeballing that motor for a motorcycle. His is really cool and WAAAY outside the box but mine would be more traditional. I think it would have enough horsepower (13)to gear it for 80+mph top speed and get insane fuel economy

Three cylinder engines.
Several manufacturers have fitted motorcycles with three cylinder engines, Triumph, Yamaha and
Laverda have produced road-going in-line four strokes. Kawasaki and Suzuki, both made in-line 3
cylinder two-strokes and before the start of the new MotoGP racing class came into existence, there
were several V3 2-stroke engines used in the world Championships.
The most common crankshaft layout for an in-line three cylinder engine is with each crankpin
spaced at 120°. This symmetrical layout completely balances primary and secondary forces.
However, due to the width of the crankshaft, serious primary and secondary rocking couples are
introduced. In addition to making 120° triples Laverda also produced one with a 180° crankshaft.
The outer two cylinders had in-line crankpins, and hence the pistons moved up and down together,
but the central cylinder has its crankpin 180° away. The reasoning behind this layout is to eliminate
the rocking couple. In so doing, the otherwise perfect primary and secondary balance of the 120°
engine is lost. The overall primary forces are equal to those from one cylinder alone, but the
secondary forces of all three pistons add together.

But why?
Why not? It's a cool use of diesel over hydraulic power. It allows him to have an all wheel drive motorcycle without a complicated gear box. To me it's the same as putting a TZ 350 engine on a shifter kart. A shifter kart with a TZ350 engine isn't going to handle as good as a typical shifter cart but would be a total rush in acceleration.
IMO, this type of powertrain would make a great setup for an all terrain wheelchair for disabled people.
Speaking of a TZ350 shifter kart.
