Just watched the huge Saddam statue come down live. It was like the Berlin Wall. The military put a noose around the neck and pulled it down with a tank. People were throwing rocks and stuff at it as it came down. When it hit the ground everyone jumped on it and they put an Iraqi flag on the foundation. A moment in history.

FREEDOM!

I have been wondering what the reporters and some of the other countries are saying now that it is certain that the BAD Americans are doing the right thing and the people of Iraq aren't unhappy with the situation, after all. I wonder how they are going to explain how we tock over the country so fast, when all along they were reporting that we were getting our butts kicked. Must be a miracle.  ;)

What??? Biased media? No way....

I laughed at the news jerks crabbing about reporters getting too friendly with the military embedded....naw, ya better bad mouth the guys saving your life in there, guys(maybe girls too) getting rid of the bad guys so you can be a reporter...?

Being objective and being opinionated are two different things, just tell me what happened why don't you? Not what is going to happen; and look at how many were wrong so far Mr Un-named General of what? Not man enough to tell your name, wimp??? It will be interesting to see what the Arab media does now; they might not know how to report something good after all.

First we blow the hell out of a reporter from one of the Arab news organizations, then Iraq throws Al-Jazeera out of the country, now the civilians are riding Saddam's head thru the streets. But we arent in control of Iraq and the Iraqis DONT want our help!

Uhemph.... Mr. Chirac, Mr. Shroeder, Mr. Putin, Senator Kerry "Bad boys bad boys, whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when they come for YOU?"

IMHO, America is not into appeasement because it does not work and never has. Anyone who is so ignorant of history or politically/economically motivated to not admit that--certainly does not fit any kind of leadership position, in any place. Some of these people have some serious foot wounds now.

This media thing is getting good. All the public sentiment controlled by the dictators over there is having a real hard time with this.:p Funny how they can disrespect fellow Arab Iraqis (and Kuwait) so easily...

Hmmm; US economic progress in 200 years=....and Middle East progress with free oil income in 200 years=....ooops, bad management I thinks.

It's interesting how France, Germany and Russia are all making their opinions known regarding what they "think" about this or that. In the new world order they are not relevent. They are all has beens and together they could be whipped by the New York City Police Department. They need to get back on the porch, cause they are in the way of the big dogs.

The statue of Saddam's terrorist a$$ coming down is definitely a historic moment in World Events. This is one more step towards world peace. I hope other terrorist countries look at this as a warning to them, that the United States can do this anytime we are ready, and with no problem. These colors never run, and I am proud to be a part of the United States Army. HOOAH!
