Thanks for any help you guys can give.

I went from a 2.4 to 2.5 motor that was built by Noah about two years ago. It was on my uncles cat that I bought from him, but it needs steering bushings and new lowers. So for now I want to use the power head from it on my boat.

I hooked the holley red pump up with the relay like pyro suggested. That seems fine. But I'm getting a bogging issue. Like it's getting no fuel or to much. I noticed when I push on the fuel linkage the jets on the double pump squirt fuel. But only the middle jets do it. The top and bottom don't. What should be correct. Thinking of pulling the carbs off and cleaning them. Just it did run smooth on the cat. I'm getting spark on all 6. Do I still need to regulate the fuel with the red Holly pump? I don't think I had one on my old 245, and I don't remember it squirting fuel from the inner or double pump.

Let me know what you guys think, thanks

Can't run much over 4 psi without seats coming unseated. Of course each situation is different but on average 4 psi is most you can run without seats coming unseated. I run regulator and gauge with the Holley pumps.
