2.5 offshore mid

Smooth back 2.5 offshore mid I seen 2 style is 1 stronger or better then the other ? Or is 1 early style and 1 late ? Thanks for any info.

Both are good and stronger then the ridge back. But to answer your question yes, the late style 2.5 that goes up in the snout casting is a bit stronger/thicker just like the late style oval 1pc adapter plate. Easy way to tell the plate thickness at the rear mounting flange.

Thanks. I was thinking something and I like the look of the late style better also . I'll be looking for 1 more late style just a can to match the 1 I have now and will be putting a older style up for sale .. Thanks again for the help.
