175 water pump assembly

is there a bushing that should be under the guide tube here where my finger is pointing? I think if fell off when dropping lower unit, cant really find a good schematic that shows with copper pipe

No bushing, that's more of a guide tube to easily connect to the water tube when sliding the lower back into place. It's just a loose fit

Just make sure the grommet is in the water pump housing
