In the wake of the Senate’s vote and given the fact that the Illinois General Assembly could conclude its session as early as May, BoatU.S. is urging all Illinois anglers and boaters to contact their state legislators and urge them to oppose S.B. 0142. May be worth a try but it has been my experience with the lawmakers, especially around here, that they do whatever the hell they want and piss on everyone else no matter what the constituents think. That's why the best way to fight them is the only way they understand, with lobby groups like Boat U.S. or B.A.S.S.

Hey Karl, you've got an STV right? Are you the one I met who came down and ran with Barta that one day in the fall year before last? I've got the red and black Rapid Craft with the Evinrude V-4 on it. Not sure if it was you or not because I know there are a number of STV ProComps in the area. Hope it warms up for this weekend. I've got my fishing boat and my dad's boat out of storage, hopefully firing up the Rapid Craft either this weekend or sometime next week.
