I did a search last night without much luck... I'm looking for pictures of the shift linkage setups you guys are running with Sportys on an OMC. I have a 3L Sportmaster thats been modded to bolt to my 2004 225HO Evinrude but i need some pics of the shift linkage so i can get an idea how to set mine up... Any ideas would be great!

This is on my old cowl. New set up is much cleaner, but same basic system. Very straight forward.

You can also mount the entire merc shift cable slider and arm with a small angle to the block flange, you have to bend the arm some to clear the pan but this also works and gives you the normal travel.Dave

Sorry I didn't get right back to you line is installed identical to lock and nuts you will however have to trim the bottom of your air box if you are running it the cable will interfere the intake on the attack is over the top of the shifter and therefore you can't see mine I had to actually install one fan and hook up the linkage and then install the other pan

I set mine up like lokinutz posted and it seems to be working fine. I do like Daves setup. I like that it will use more control box throw. Thanks Again!
