Interesting! I'm guessing they've sealed up the water intakes up on the sides of the gearcase? And what is the stainless braided hose connecting the motors at the back - some sort of water pressure equalization line like they run on the inboard raceboats? I'm guessing there are hull mounted water pickups somewhere supplying water to the motors? The pics leave lots of questions to this unique setup - not to mention the huge setback brackets!

Brackets are apparently Bobs, gear cases have low water pick ups in added nose cones, and the hose is to balance pressure when in turns.

The bracket are bobs (which is suprising, they really do a dance in the rough) but those are not bobs cones.

need some taller gears
I wonder if you could enter with 300 v8, same weight engine, 6700 limit 1.76 box?
Have to make the fuel tank a little bigger.

Have they ever broken a propshaft? I have seen the m2 shafts clock the splines 2/3 splines over bend the shaft and still not break. Theres an offshore racing class here that runs 250HO e-tecs on 28ft boats and they have never even had a gear case failure.

Lost props on their G1s but this is prevention for the G2s. Pic of one of the G1 shafts...

These boats are not going that fast, Aus 600hp speed record stands at 103mph.

I read somewhere they had 42p props running almost 120??? Is that incorrect?

I added the balance hose on my Skater to do the same at the advice of an X-Cat and F-1 racer. I do a lot of sharp turns on my "skinny" lake - no water pressure issues/warning beeps now! Maybe the best upgrade to my XS's I have done.

If you do a youtube search of the Aus offshore series you will see how quick a 120mph boat passes boats in this class.
