Anybody have any recommendations on a shipper to get a boat from Louisiana to California? I didn't think Frank Mole heads this way very often.

If Frank can't get it taken care of then look up U Ship and put it out there for bid to driver all over the country. I have done this with 3 Corvettes and a hummer and all where great other than a lost set of cars that cost the driver dearly......Not cheap losing Corvette keys and the fob that opens the door.
Look up Frank 1st and see if he isn't coming this way.

I have used Frank 3 times in the last year over 800 miles every time. EXCELLENT. He could not haul my son's boat from west palm to western NC last time and I had a great guy (I got lucky) from U-Ship haul it for 550 but had to wait a week. Frank you gotta take less vacations man. ;) Yes he was on personal time. Every other haul Frank has done for me he was here in RECORD time early every single time, worked on one of the trailers, put tires on another etc, even in the snow where I just knew he would not make it up our very steep driveway, well he did make it up and has some MEAN tires on his tow rig.

I've also had good success with uShip. There are guys on there that specialize in boat transport. One in particular, Eliseo Guzman, I know goes to California from central US and did a great job for me recently.

I got my Viper from Central Minnesota to my home in Santa Barbara, via U-ship. The driver didn't even tow it. He had a flatbed and put the boat and trailer on his flat bed. When he arrived at my house with my boat, he had a Harley, and a huge earth mover tire. My guy was willing to give me a significant break on the cost, if I was willing to wait for him to build an itinerary, rather than just go straight to central Minn, and get it and come back. It ended up taking two and a half months. No biggie for the amount of money I saved. At first, he told me his tranny broke before his journey and that he would need a week to get it fixed. I thought, "Oh no, I got a flake". Turned out he wasn't BS'ing. In a week, he was off on his trip, just exactly as promised.

I would contact Frank for sure. He's the only person I would trust with any boat. Frank goes way above and beyond any other shipper, and unlike most others, he completely understands the care required for transporting boats. He's also a mechanic, which helps a great deal.
