Anyone in the marine field use a TechMate Pro instead of a DDT? How well do they work, and are they as capable in functions as a DDT? I'm looking at ordering one and wanted real world use reviews. Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

I just purchased the Rinda Diacom package because it also will do live data logging and save file to view later. I'm going to use it this week. Basic package ($579) has 2 adapters, 4-pin Mercury and another but unsure what it fits as my interest was for 300xs.

never owned a ddt. i do use a rinda on my optimax motors. it reads codes, hours and will fire coils and injectors. reads all other sensors on my motors. it seems to do what i need to look at.

I have techmate pro and use it a lot on optis and verados. It s a very good tool for trouble shooting reading engine history ,testing coils ,injectors, viewing current and historical faults ,tachometer test , dts shifting and viewing live data while engine is running and more
