Hey guys, i have a Mirage boat in my shop (see picture) that somebody did a poor (White) color match on the deck... it needs a better match. I was wondering if anyone might be able to point me to the original builder who in turn might be able to guide me to the correct gel that was used on that boat as a starting point? any help would be hugely appreciated...

cheers,

Mike

What year ? Ownership changed in 98. Most 98's and older were built in Texas by Brad Collins.

Hi Mike,
If that does not work out, a good friend of mine who runs a glass shop in North Van periodically brings up the Fiberlay rep from Seattle with their gel coat matching camera. Works great. PM me for me info.

If you have a Fiberlay fiberglass supply shop nearby they have a scanner and color match perfectly. Wetsand a spot you want matched and leave it sanded, not polished for the scan.

Problem is even if you got the original gel it wouldnt match now.
