Ford GT finishes 1,3,4 in class at 24 hrs. of LeMans

I thought Ford was asking too much to come back to LeMans after 50 years and expect to win but damn if they didn't do it!
The Ford GT was the class of GTE Pro cars finishing 1,3,4 and 9th; the 4th GT, that finished 9th, experienced trans problems but still finished the race.
Ferrari couldn't match the speed of the Ford GT; just like 50 years ago.

I hope Ford keeps involved in sports car racing for years to come.:thumbsup:
Plus the 2nd place Ferrari is from a team based in Houston, Tx. So American teams finished 1,2,3 in class.

You know Toyota was heartbroken with there car breaking right at the end of the race while leading everyone else. But congrats to Porsche on the overall win.

That was even after they gave them a performance penalty following qualifying. The Ferraris were hit with one as well. Congrats to the Ganassi organization for taking this program to where it is. :cheers:
