4 stroke on a 21' SOB

Has anybody ever had or heard of a Yamaha or Honda 4 stroke on a Rally Sport / Velocity / Superboat/ etc and how did it work? Sure it wouldn't be as fast as a 2 stroke, but would efficiency and longevity be worth it?

Oh and it doesn't make any noise or use any fuel...:cool::confused: and i thought that was half the fun !

I hate motors that DO NOT make some type of noise but I'm OK with minimal fuel consumption...:p:D

Tuff boats has tried 4 strokes. I don't recall the details. You could contact them.

Don't know why a Tuff 21 wouldn't work great with the SHO. I can see 90+ right out of the gate, If they weren't so far away I'd have one, you just see them out west.

You can easily ship a Tuff from Eastern Canada to you in California for $3k USD. There is a used one for sale right now in fact. Personally I'd see what Nordic has in an SR-21 OB right down the street from you.

Do you want to mod your four stroke? Like get 400hp out of your 300 Verado or 1000hp out of your Honda 250? Yes I said 1000hp. We are developing an affordable programmer that the home tuner can use on there four stroke. Honda motors can use automotive cams and power adders. Verados just need adjustments and tuning.
