Grabed my O/B shop tank - stored indoors - and went to use the fuel in a pressure washer-
The super dependable Honda started for a few seconds on the gas remain in the carb but once the "new" fuel from my shop tank hit the carb- it shut down and would not start- Poured out the pressure washer tank- was milky- poured out the shop tank- dang it look like watery cottage cheese- curds and all-
I have never worried about the ethanol in the past- but that mess made me pay attention-

Are you using fuel treatments? What are you using?

Lucky here, premium grade fuel is ethanol free.
Premium fuel and 2+4 Fuel Conditioner - BRP.
I don't know what Merc / Yam / etc offer for conditioners - but I now use it in everything except the cars & truck.
I pump a few gallon or so into the car / truck first - multi grade pumps with a single hose.
