We are now dealers for spot gps tracking systems, they are all self contained and the size of a pager, batteries last 4+ months, and you can pretty much hide it anywhere. When it senses movement, it sends an alert to your phone, and shows speed and gps coordinates, along with a map and the object on it. Prices are 99$ plus shipping, yearly service is 99$. It's a pretty good bet you will get your boat back with this, as quickly as you respond to the alert.

Question i would guess that it would also send alert to your phone when battey is running low? Any way to hard wire to boat battery?

Yes, it does send a low battery alert. It also can be hardwired with battery backup

Is this the Spot Trace? How much is the annual fee?

I'm also interested to know about Spot Track and if there are monthly "monitoring" fees. I just looked on their website-and it wasn't clear what the fees were beyond the cost of the tracker.

So the answer is. “Yes”, a service plan is required, the device is worthless without it.

FYI, there is no such thing as a tracking device without a service plan, it’s the only way it works.
