Hello Peeps, I would like some help. I have a 85 2.4 with the tri ram ..... Okay I bought a new Motor and installed here is the issue when I run it up in to trailer mode it will not leak down and that is great yet when I go down and the 2 small rams take over for running across the lake it bleeds down. Im thinking I've ran across where 1 of the small rams have a valve that can leak down but I cant find, so please someone chime in which side or is there an other issue Im missing.

Thanks
Dave

Possibly a check ball in the pump!
Sometimes trash will get caught between the ball and seat.
Look up a diagram for an Oildyne pump. I have several times taken a punch and small hammer and knocked the check balls into their respective bores to re-seat the ball's socket.....don't beat it to death!!
Also always remove the regulator valves by their base to expose the ball and spring, not by the top or the jam nut!!

ive bought plenty of those from ebay you will have to pull it out and turn the nut on the shuttle valve about a half turn or so (tighter) i used to send them back and most of the time it works
