Just installed an SBT shortblock with 1 year warrantee. Brand new battery.
Ran the new engine for the first time today (May 31, 2003). It started right up and ran great. Going to test it on the lake as soon as it stops raining. 120 lbs compression each cyl.
The story:
The Ski is in excellent condition, extremely clean. The original owner works with me and he knows nothing about maintenance. He blew the original engine up in the sand the first year he had it and it sat inside his summer house garage since. I acquired it this year and put the new engine in it. I was going to keep it, but I could use the money toward home improvements.
