Who has real confirmation that they are no longer going to be making the optimax other than hear say

I was told if the Optimax's did not meet the 2018 EPA compliance rules that it is done. This is straight from my Mercury Sales Rep. My take is they will be at least available for 2016 and 2017. The rest is uncertain.

I was told by a Mercury rep at the Miami boat show that the 300xs will be around at least until 2019. He says they will not get replaced unless they come up with something better..
