Purchased used boat with twins 300xs w/sportmaster lowers. Dealer said the starboard lower had been professionally rebuilt. I had boat on water maybe a hour total, over winter trying to dial in props in cool water temperatures. Decided to change drive oil last weekend and on the starboard lower more water then oil came out! Not much metal on magnet but lots of clear water and then some black oil. Now the port side was slightly milky also no metal. I seen several post with the 3.0, adding a vent but not much on the 3.2's. I l flushed it out put new oil in and was going to run memorial weekend and check again. No leaks in storage, any ideas?

Mine leak water in every time I run it, I change oil in both after each weekend run. Usually on monday afternoon. My 2011s and these 2015s were all the same.

The sportmasters on your 3.2L are the same as those on a 3L. The factory seal carriers both driveshaft and shiftshaft are made of plasyic. There are several people now offering billet upgraded with. More seals than the factory units.

I sell the ones you see that have been anodised blue. I offer them with the correct factory seals from Mercury so they won't rot out like the ones from others. If you have any questions or want more options give me a call. (239)293-4731

the seals todd sells will fix the problem, but over filling it will also screw it up
