Guys I know this topic has been beat up over and over and I search The Forum and only can find old threads I know times change and knowledge is gained this is why I wanted to ask

I have a couple different Motors the first one is a 280 and was wondering if I could get away with mixing Pennzoil 32 - 1? I have been mixing Mercury Quicksilver but the cost of that where I'm at is getting higher and higher as opposed to Pennzoil

the next one is a Promax 300 I just removed the oil injection system also can I get away with using Pennzoil on that and what mixture of ratio oil is recommended for a Promax 300.....
yes I like to speed around with my motors therefore keeping them high RPM I don't just Cruise slow in 5 mile per hour booies LOL
Thank you guys for your time and knowledge as I know the topic has been discussed over and over ..

Ran Pennzoil in my 1999-280 for over 200hrs without issues at the factory 40:1. If the Promax was mine I would mix 50:1

Thank you for your time I thought 50:1 was too low over higher rpm....just trying to learn all I can about anything I can I would rather be safe than sorry and not want to mess anything up

I'd only run a promax 50:1 if you kept it under 6k, for over 6k operation I go 40:1 up to 7200ish if it's modified.

32:1 over 7500, 28:1 over 8k
