I'd like to have a Euro like Helmuts...maybe a little custom colors to it. Then something like a 21' Pulsaire BR for bigger water cruising. Seen some nice new BRs out there now.

I'm going to scale my Skater down to a 24 with twin 225X for power because I think a 28 is a bit to big to hang on davits off the back of my Ocean Yacht. I forgot, money is not a factor.

As long as I'm dreaming and price is no object I would want one of Howard Arnesons turbine powered Skaters. The 32 with the single 1325 hp that cruises at 110 and tops out at 140 would be nice.Or the bigger twin that runs 130 @ 80% and tops out at 170 as is burns 240 gal of fuel an hour:eek:  :D

mr fun
04-06-2003, 12:09 PM
i've only seen one, in a cannal in ft lauderdale, going past a marina in a no wake zone, every time the guy put it in gear the ass end squatted about a foot lower in the water and learched foreward, he had to pop it out of gear to not make a wake, the exhaust ports out the side looked like you could put a 55 gal trash can in them, the engine cover- sun pad area looked big enough for a vollyball net. absolutly awsome. one day  ;) fun out.
I'm a little partial to a 22 Cougar with twins if one day I decide to spend some big money.

"Limitless" Designed by and built for the owner of Victoria's Secret, Leslie Wexson.70 mill. The handrail cost 1 mil.The stern doors gull wing out on both sides.I saw him cross my bow in a 26'? wooden boat that was unreal and had the sharp bow and sloped transom like the big boat.they put it in the back where his lambo, benz and big offshore boat is.Wish I had a link because words can't discribe it.315.7',3-7800hp cats.25kts
SO, I've wanted a 23 Daytona for a long time so I'm happy with that, happier when it's running down the river.

Well this actually was a dream.....but it didn't last. Rapid Craft Riot, 260 ported, bored horn, digital ECU, 15" mid, speed master, hydrolic jackplate, a full set of indicators, and Gaffrig gages, Marine dynamics, and Rex Marine parts too. All the bells, whistles, and horns.......I had a cashiers check with his name one it......was going to sell a couple of boats to get this one. Oh did I mention the 150 hp Nitrox system?......... He claimed it would run 110 and needed to be propped for more speed!!!!!
This was a professionally built and meticulous does not do it justice!.........The bank would not release the papers............
Almost went black! OMG! LOL!!!!!!!!:D

distance is another, we just dont have the same kind of boats over here, I would love the chance to buy a mirage, a couger or one of those viscious 17's maybe. But there's just nothing like them this side of the atlantic.

At this point, any boat is my dream boat. I am really starting to get addicted to boats, I've found myself searching boating websites all day now, looking at different performance boats.
One day I will be home in the US again, and can start looking seriously to buy myself a boat.....Until then, I will keep dreamin, and looking at all your boats!

Is there any performance boating in Germany???
My wife is from Dessau near Leipzig. I went out with the Wassershutz Polizei on their patrol boat. (I'm a cop here in the United States). We went out on the Mulde River on a weekday. Big beautiful river, but nothing but sheep and marshland. Hardly any marines, and very few pleasure boats. The fuel is too expensive I guess. I saw a Bayliner cuddy cabin with like a 15 hp Evinrude, hooked up to the steering. He was putting along. Would have been a nice calm river though for a Hydrostream or STV!!!
My wife dreams of moving back to Germany, but I don't think I can ever go there cause I don't think there are any Skaters there :(

Mike,
I don't know much about performance boating in Germany. You have to ask Doubledog. He will know more about it than me. HE'S THE ONE GETTING ME ADDICTED TO BOATING!! :D LOL, Thanks Jamie! I think there is a place near Wiesbaden, where me and Jamie are going tomorrow. I'll have to get back to you though after I find out.
