has anyone heard of Ocean Runner Tunnels out of Michigan? it is a 19' with a single step. the gentleman say it is a copy of a skater. however skater has never built anything under 21 without 2 steps. Didn't know if i was getting completely incorrect information or if it was a cut down skater with a step taken out. anyone know how these boats run?

Its nothing to do with skater or any splash off of a skater. The hulls were built by Ocean Express in Algonac Michigan and the molds changed hands after they went out of business. I think that Ocean Express might have operated under a couple of other names as well but I am not sure of that. As far as how they run, I have only seen one 19 run with a 200 and it was average-I think it was an 80 mph boat roughly. They made a 15, 19, 25, 31, 38 and a 48. The boats were heavy in comparison to a skater.
