The 2008 Miami International Boat Show was a special event for Evinrude (http://www.evinrude.com/en-us) - it marked their 100th Anniversary. For this occasion, they had a large display of vintage engines from their collection, as well as copies of brochures and other contemporary sales and promotional media. Much of this material was provided by Scream And Fly member Ken Findley, from his amazing collection of vintage OMC brochures.

My oldest running engine is a 1946/47 Goodyear Sea Bee. The first outboard I ever had. It looks something like the last picture.

It may not be the oldest, but I have a match to one of the display motors.

This 1928 Evinrude Fastwin 12 HP is one of my collection that I restored a few years ago before I got the "Screaming & Flying" addiction again.
What I like about this model is the fluted aluminum exhaust housing. Gary
