Who is the best man on the set up on stv Mark OutI would say Wally, he and Dixon were the ones that changed things and went way beyond the limits imagined. If you are just setting up a lake boat, its no real secret-make sure the bottom is fairly straight, the boat isn't wet and or rotted, hang a strong motor on the back with good safe steering, set the propshaft at an inch and three eights above the pad, bolt an et on it, put a good jacket on, stand on the gas and fly it level. They are small boats that are capable of real speeds so respect it and the oncoming wakes that you will encounter.

I have had a bunch of them now and always miss them if I am with out. I am putting my current river rocket project together now.

My current STV (151 boat) drives great, probably the best handling of all the STVs I have owned although it is rarely used. The only issue is that Wally lowered the seat so far into the floor of the boat that I have to sit on a Atlanta phone book to see over the dash!
