Hello everyone. I have a 1994 Johnson 120 TLERC. It was running fine until I had a lower unit leak so I removed the motor and installed another motor I had. I have now reinstalled the motor and It will not throttle up without missing. I don't know if I am dealing with a Carb, Timing or throttle sync issue. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Nothing has changed since I removed and reinstalled. I also did a link and sync before I filmed this video. What does it look and sound like to you experts.

Agreed in slow but that restricts to 2500+/- Assuming it is not hot and have no buzzer for overheat it may be a bad power pack. Lift the pack and disconnect the tan wire and run again if still does it pack is the issue if not you have a sensor throwing it into slow.

I just got through testing and here is what I found. If I completely disconnect the temp sensor it runs perfectly fine. If I just unplug the brown wire it run bad again. I put the sensor in boiling water and the brown wire side never closes. The black and white wire never opens. I even put it in the freezer. I am assuming now that the temp switch is the problem. That little thing is expensive. Let me know your thoughts.

Yes if you only unplugged one sensor and all is good sensor is bad. It's actually a switch, when warn white black goes to ground to turn off quick start, when hot tan goes to ground to set off buzzer which you did not mention so verify it works and activates slow in the powerpack
