STVers -
Quick question and the picture that Greg posted of the 125 mph RR got me thinking.....
Does a RR "chine walk" when it's really hauling azz? That picture really shows the outside sponsons being higher than the center one. Does the Euro do the same thing?
I owned a Euro years and years ago and I just remember it being a point and shoot ride.
Hope that makes sense.

Mike, there is a good video on youtube of Jason in his river rocket, I believe it is entitled "messing around on the Illinois river" If you can't find it let me know, or search under oktane111 - he shot the video, I think it will answer your question without a doubt, it hopped a bit at slower speeds, but once punched, man it takes off, grabs a set and is gone. Enjoy the video.

I think you're talking about the mid range hop. Mike is talking about chine walking. From what I've heard if you really have one flying there is probably a very slight amount. I know my 1/4 Master needs a slight steering correction to keep from tapping the sponsons back and forth

Exactly. When you get one hung outright keep it on the pad with steering not the training wheels.
The center pod is about one inch lower from what I remember, over 100mph the side sponsons should be out of the water with a light load.
In MVP racing the center pod HAD to be the lowest point.
