Looks good - I might end up doing something like that. Going to try wind deflectors first tho. Post this on OSO too.

AmericanRam, Did you silicone the plexiglass to the hull? It keeps the plex. from vibrating at speed!

Mike, Yes both front panels and both sides. I taped off the glass and hull right at the butt line. Clear silicone and some "Bead Tamer" to get it to lay real flat and no bleed over. Really force the silicone all the way to get full depth of the plex. Remove the tape while still uncured. It will be much more rigid. David

Hi David
It would be interesting to talk to you about the install of the windshield to see if you had as many problems as I did..Lol

I installed mine as well. Did not think it was that bad. I was not happy with the flex and custom made the additional supports which made a big difference. Also if you ever stuff it in rough water you do not want that plexi coming off and hitting you in the face.
Maybe Over Kill but JMO.

Very nice supports....and I was thinking the same thing about the plexi glass...I was thinking of having it made out of lexann.....

Problem is if you want it flush with the mounts it has to 1/4". I think they use lexan as well and now they coat it with a scratch resistant coating.
You can ask Carmen at Aero about it.
