Looking for used Merc 250xs (04-06) or 300xs

Hey guys, I was looking to see if there were any low hour merc 250/300xs 20" motors for sale out there that were not run to death for the application of putting on a lake and bay 20 boca grande hull. In the 250 I was guessing that 04-06 were the years Mercury pushed them stock to about 290hp and was interested in those years for that purpose, however I may have the year model range a little off. I have a 2013 250xs with DBR kit should be about 294HP I'd consider selling.

Don't know if you are still looking. I have a 2005 250 XS on a Bocagrande. I am thinking about repowering. Has about 650 hrs. New fuel rails about 15 hrs ago, 3new direct injectors, new air compressor and leak down test on lu with replacement top seal in March 2016. Motor runs great, looks good. Don Weed, European Marine, Greenville, SC knows the motor. I have owned since about 2008 (200+ hrs). Very low hours above 4500 rpm. Just came home from Winter at Englewood. $7500.00.
