Question about Merc 260 cdi stator??

I was looking to pick up a new stator and I see Cdi makes 2 stators. One says its
a racing stator one says its a regular on for v6. I know they will both fit but what's the difference besides the price ? Thanks Mark

I use the race stators. Hold up well. They designed to have higher voltage at high rpm.
