Mariner lower unit question?

I have an early 80's 3 cyl 70 Mariner ....... Will the lower unit and drive shaft fit a 4 cyl Mariner 75 HP engine?

I don't know the year, but they look about the same.

Hate to bump this back up, but I have been looking for a lower for the 4 cyl and on ebay they say theirs fit 3 and 4 cyl and has 2.33:1 ratio ...... What is the real difference as I only have a 3yl to look at?

Can anybody tell me what lowers fit a 4cyl 75 Mariner?

Why does the 3cyl not fit?

THE 3 CYL UNIT IS WAY SMALLER THE 4 CYL UNIT FITS 75-140HP, NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE SAME.
SIDE BY SIDE THE DIFF IS NITE AND DAY OBVIOUS.
I WILL TRY TO GET A PICTURE FOR U TODAY IM AT THE SHOP WE HAVE BOTH UNITS IN OUR USED STORAGE AREA.:cheers:
