I remember a thread on here about the place that made them, I believe in Australia or New Zealand. Can't find it no matter what I search, does anyone have the contact info or company name for the place that makes them?

This is the one I'm talking about..

They used to be on DAC racing website. They are NOT cheap, but you can stand on them. They are fairly large too

I've been back and forth with DAC a few times, trying to decide if I'm going to foot the bill for shipping or not, because it's ridiculous. 1200 euro isn't terrible for a complete cowling, but at the same time I can get one from Mike Nass for similar money without pissing away a ton of cash on shipping.

I also thought about trying to get a few more guys together and shipping all of them at once, but quickly realized that's retarded because group buys with outboard guys end up being a bigger pain in the ass than herding cats.

You could try if Malcolm Jamieson still makes them at KRB, thats where my last one came from www.krbracing.com. If your struggling to get in touch you could let me have your contact details and I'll try pass them on.

RJ West (Composite Craft) out of Calif. has molds that are very similar to the DAC version and work well. The top cowl will fit the Merc pan. He can build both the top and Pan if you want.
