Propeller Diameter question

What could be expected on a STV Euro with all conditions being equal changing the prop diameter by 1/2". Basically a 32p x 14" diameter vs. 32p x 14.5" diameter Mercury 3 blade lab finished Cleaver.

What could be expected on a STV Euro with all conditions being equal changing the prop diameter by 1/2". Basically a 32p x 14" diameter vs. 32p x 14.5" diameter Mercury 3 blade lab finished Cleaver.

The larger dia. will most likely pull the r.p.m. down a little bit. If it does pull it to the same r.p.m. as your 14, then you will see a little more transom lift.
