What does the c4 head designation indicate?

Im still trying to learn all of the comparabilities between parts on different 2.5's

Different size of the domes, C3, C4 and C5. One is wider and other is shorter but deeper. Don't recall the specifics sure others do.

So these would fit a 225 promax or a 260 or a non o ring old style 280?

Yes they should, I ran them on a 225 and a 260.

what kind of compression did these run on a your 225 with what head gasket

Ran about 160 pounds on my dads 225 with thin head gaskets but seems like every motor is different, also depends on condition of rings etc.

do you think the peppering would clean up if cut to 26cc??

I'm not sure it would clean up all of it or not. I've cleaned up all the peppering in the center and edges so should be fine the way it is right now.
