i used some flat stock with 1/8 allen screws threated at the hole center lines. drill a hole for the trim shaft. be sure to clean the case very thoughly and use a clean table. just a fuss or hair can cause issues.

its best to pull trim rams in a little(eases pressure on bottom of caps) no motor-use screwdriver to turn pump or old armature from bad motor. salted??use heat to expand cylinder let cool then reheat (inferred temp gauge helps)heat upto paint discolor, most caps will loosen with punch hammer(have broken off many pins on factory tools) if loosened unscrew with tool/punch/adjustable pin spanner-th

Try this. http://www.amazon.com/AMPRO-T70566-GL-Nut-Wrench/dp/B00A8FNPYU/ref=pd_sim_263_4?ie=UTF8&dpID=4153qPTKxuL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=1FRHSDJYPPCC9SBWMZQC
I've used this tool for a bunch of trim rebuilds. Cheap as dirt and worked fine every time. Even on salty motors.
It is a right hand thread.
