I've been looking for some time now to find a new boat (2010 and newer) that looks fast and just like the older Hydrostreams and Glastrons.
It seems all i can find is fishing or ugly boats. What happened to the days of the Larson Senza and such?Does no one make cool boats anymore,or is it just me.I am looking for a 4-6 person boat, like a 2006 Hydrostream Voyager. 20-23 ft size, and capable of 70-80 mph. Help

the new Talon 22 sure sounds promising,if it is like the older ones, should be great.i like the way its stable, the Allisons tend to lien and not as stable, I think the perfect set-up would be a new 22 Talon with power steering and a 250 Yamaha SHO 4 stroke,or a new (Hydrostream Voyager XT if they ever make them again ) with power steering and a 250 Yamaha SHO 4 stroke.

You could buy the old style Voyager with modern construction and a big engine.

Buy an old Glastron Carlson and redo it to your liking...CVX-20 Jet, CVX-20 Sprint or CVX-23. They just don't make them like this any more.

That is what I opted to do.

Same boat now getting prepped for new Gelcoat in the same vintage colors.

Outboard is a Sprint, then there is the Ski Machine or it was available as an Inboard/overboard Intimadator

They just don't make them like they used to.

Just my 2 cent worth then again I am restoring now 3 37-40 plus year old boats.

Oh, when I bought the CVX-20 it was in a sad state.

It had been sprayed with Plastidip to save the long gone Gelcoat

Messy job but with some imagination one can see hope.

So maybe there is a Diamond in the Rough hiding under all that messy black crap.
