Wing torque master info

i saw the new torque master has small wings and bit different case,do they interchange with older 3.0l engines, and how well do they perform?

spoke to my dealer when I was in the market for a TM for my 3.0, said they are compatible however mine is an 03. Didn't mention any real improvements over older model.

Mercury recommends that you do not install the Gen 2 Torquemaster on engines that were not originally equipped with them. Safety issue with the pressure relief within the hydraulic trim system. This is covered, and strongly cautioned in Technician Training, AND a Service Bulletin.
