It may be a tad high on the asking price but if it is redone as nice as the pics it would be very good pick up. Has anyone seen it in person or close enough to look at it. I'm thinking about a road trip to look for myself.

I've looked at the pix's 1/2 a dozen times and have noticed.....

The cabin doors and hatch to the cabin are gone.

May have just had a complete restoration but the paints peeling off the tach bezels.

And if I'm not mistaken, the deck is cracked at the transition from the side deck to the transom cap as they all are except the two I owned.

I'd want to see pix's of the bottom of the aft seat base/inside of transom (where it's tabbed together) where they all pull apart, plus rigging etc.
Also under the vee berth cushions to see if the bulkheads are still tabbed to the hull.

I will say though, in my 20 yrs of following these boats very closely, that appears to be the prettiest one I've seen. Even w/everything I did to my last one, his looks 20 yrs newer.

Interesting too, I think some of his ad is hijacked from when I sold mine ;)

Dont mean to bad mouth it. It may be a cream puff but it's been my experience when you find lil stuff.......

Seller had a picture of a huge speaker he's proud of but if you look, it has one screw attaching it.

About once a yr I get a PM from someone asking about one for sale. Once you know where to look...., to my knowledge no one bought any of them.
Too bad cuz they're really neat boats.

Great looking boat but with MY 2000 power and the items that have been pointed out I would think it would sell for $20k-$21k best case.

Do you mean just below the transoms rub rail where the deck cap "sits" on top of the hull? Did you have to fix this item on both or yours?

No. When the transom pulls loose from the seat base it flexs aft about 2 inches. Then the deck On top of the transom where it makes the 90° turn at the sides of the hull right where the cleat mounts, that cracks and becomes s flex point. That part of the deck is cosmetic and not structural. And yes I repaired that area on both of mine.

You can see the previous repair on mine in the 1st 3 pictures on the first page of my thread. Look at the starboard, aft corner of the deck.
They all do it there. I've seen one for sale that an owner actually made plates that screw on top of that corner of the deck.
Everyone tries to repair the deck (I did too) which is the symptom not the cause.
The cause is the transom pulling lose from the seat base.

Notice the three comealongs in the same pix's, pulling the transom in straight.

My dream was always to splash that boat, update lamination schedule, go to conventional stringer construction (tons more interior space) and build it right. W/a pad bottom and a 300 XS it'd probably run high 70's if not 80's. Twins set to kill would probably tickle a 100.
Find another twin O/B cuddy (actua;lly sleeps two in comfort) w/twin O/B's that will do that and can be towed behind a mini van.

Any takers :) :) :)

Really nice looking boat.
Yes some cosmetic issues was pointed out but sometimes it's some of the things you have to deal with when your buying anything used.
