How do I fit my new steering plate for a dual ride guide cable steering (red arrow)? The first is an ARP but the second..? Part number? The engine is a Merc 200xs. http://www.marineengine.com/parts/mercury_marine_parts/sn/1E001692/1920401FH/11822_230

Thank you for your response. I was told at the AllisonOwner's forum that I should have at least two bolts for my tiller and three with the one in the pic you posted.
The ARP bolt in the pdf you posted is the one that goes in front but the second hole towards the engine is larger and does not go thru the tiller.

If your setup uses a single link arm, there is nowhere to put a second bolt:confused:

The hole at the forward location is to mount a tie bar for twin engines.

The hole at the forward location is to mount a tie bar for twin engines.
On the old skinny tiller arms that is the case, but on the 280/200xs style "fat single hole" arm as pictured, the location for the tie bar is the aft hole. I don't think the rear hole was even drilled in my 280.
With that particular tiller arm, you're stuck making something custom for dual opposed, and it's a pain in the ass.
