What year did G1 etec 250 increase horsepower?

I read in a couple forums that early g1 etec 250 were weaker than later g1 etec 250. If this is true does anyone know what year this accrued?

250ho didnt come out till 2008 they are same as 300 both make around 275

Yup that's for the high output. The other post I was looking at was claiming early regular 250 made 236hp on the dyno where later ones made like closer to 250 exact on dyno all G1. I'm just curious if anyone else heard of this.
