2.5/280 ROS Block color?

I washed my block a little to hard and the "color" is washed off in spots and light in others. Does anyone offer a OEM color engine block paint?

280s are never painted.The color comes from a chemical bath they get.Some will go green,some bronze.Some barely show any color.IMO you will devalue your motor with any paint.You mite try an alodyne wash, on a small spot and see how it looks.

You need Alodine 1201 and 1200, mix at 50/50 and dab on with a sponge, then wipe off with a clean sponge after about 15 seconds. If its not dark enough do it again. You'll get the feel for how it blends after the first couple spots you do.
