Allison 13r with Johnson 70 20"?

Can I rig an Allison 13r with a Johnson 70 20" with any luck? Can I raise the engine with a jack plate or is this not a good idea?

You sure can but you would be better of with a short shaft Stinger not so much because of the height of the motor on your transom but because of the gearing of the nitro gear case that comes with the short shaft Stingers, you will have an easier time finding a prop and you can expect speeds of 64 to 70 miles an hour.
