Probably need more details. Is it a sportmaster? Wrong cowl etc. Run good?

You've got a lot going on there bud. I agree with capt that cowling doesn't come on Promax's. Looks like early model cowl possibly
Blackmax. Need to get the engine serial off the block. Should be on left upper side of the block or freeze plug. Put that number in
https://www.mercruiserparts.com/ and it should tell you exactly what it is. Need to know compression and leak down to check the
integrity of cly's. Honestly, I also carry a set of head gaskets and ask to pull the heads to inspect cyl's and such if you're truly interested
in getting it. The lower unit looks like it has a poorly installed coned lower. Hard to tell by the pics. Get as much info and repost. Maybe
some other will chime in.
