If it's as advertised I would say that's a good deal.

Very cheap if it looks like described, but I wonder what "Good" looks like up close. Wonder why no close up photos of finish or interior?

Last time I talked with owner the boat was stuffed and had some issues. Bow is wrapped and there's some cracking in bow area. Maybe he fixed things by now.

Thanks Nitro, your input on this and many other threads here is greatly appreciated. When you said "wrapped", did you mean "warped" or wrapped as in vinyl wrapped ?
Buyer beware! If the deal is too good to be true, you owe it to yourself to get a marine surveyor and ask the owner candidly if the boat has ever been stuffed, sunk, burned or had any major glass work.
if you really want to get a boat with no history/issues, I'd buy new.
S&F ID "Widman" (Randy) priced a brand new Liberator 21 for me the other day and I was really impressed with his pricing. Randy is very easy to chat with and has lots of knowledge about these boats. What made the pricing sweet was that I have my own 300X and the boat had no graphics.

I wondered why it was so cheap. That boat even this late in the year should be worth about 10K more if the hull is sound and has ZERO stress cracks. Something has got to be up. It has a panel you can crawl up under the dash and look inside the front. Probably a good idea to do so before buying it. If it is sound and is honestly described and the interior is nice that is a SMOKING DEAL.

I inquired about this boat last year when it appeared for sale at $21,000 on Craig's List. Here is a video I found that shows the damage to the boat:

I was too far away to go check it out, so I can't tell how good of a job was done to repair the damage but these are pretty rare boats and it did not sell.
Thanks
Gary
