2.4 to 2.5 electrical conversion

Can I just swap out my 2.4 electical with 2.5. I am talking just changing everything. Flywheel, stator, trigger switch boxes coils etc. or do I have to stay with my 2.4 stuff

Yes,but use it all!!---- sometimes the stator mount may need a little mod,not a big deal.

Trying to help a friend do this. He says the stator won't sit flat so I expect that's the mod you are talking about. What needs to be done?

Found it with a little more searching. See the post by John #11 for a picture of the mod to the bearing carrier.
