Even though it's a Mercury gotta give credit to a fast boat! Steve and Orville Smith built this beauty and it ran 8.6 seconds off the rope at kdba in the late 90s. I ended up with the boat after Steve put a Lee capsule in it. I ended up putting my f1 v8 on it.

Oh to give more credit the motor was a stock s3000 on gasoline. The boat was not very heavy!

I think this maybe the only photo of the boat before Steve put a lee capsule in it. Which completely changed the look of the boat.
