Lookin for members in the Phoenix area. I moved to AZ 6 years ago and would like to get familiar with the area lakes. Please chime in if your in the Phoenix area and could possibly meet on the water sometime

Yes. Somehow the EPA spilt contamination from a abandoned gold mine (lead,zinc,copper,arsenic) into a river, that river runs into the Colorado river and the Colorado river runs into AZ to lake Powell. River is yellow.like mustard! Not sure how toxic it is but defiantly looks bad

That's was here in Co they did that . It was in ther Animas river that empties into the San Juan in N.M and then goes to Lake Powell . It will never make it to the Colorado river due to dilution . What little microns do make it will never harm anything .

I'm here in Mesa. Pleasant, Saguaro, Roosevelt, Canyon, and Bartlett are all cool lakes. Just depends on what part of town you are in. It is also a short drive to Parker and Havasu from here. I usually hit Saguaro or drive out to Parker. Where about are you?

I live in Goodyear. Canyon is prob my favorite. There is always alot more action at pleasant and that's where I go 90% of the time. Will hopefully be doin some testing at pleasant this weekend. Do you plan on hitting the water this weekend?
