Mercury idle

Just a quick question. 98 xr6 carb. I know the idle needs to be fine tuned in the water but what rpm should I set it @ on the hose to get me close? Idle stabilizer is working. Thanks

Awesome! That's what I set it at. Sounds great and shifts smooth. Will adjust if need be in the water.
