2015 300xs vs older models

Long time reader first time asker. I'm getting a new 2015 300xs. I had a 2007 but was titled 2010. Does Mercury upgrade parts on these motors or am I getting the same exact motor? I was just curious how often they do modifications to these models or is a 2015 the exact same as a 2007. Thanks

I don't know a lot, but I do know that the air pump was upgraded in 2010 to avoid the bearing failures.

I know for sure that after 2013, the ECU has been lock-protected to prevent flashing. Also, the 2015's and maybe the 2014's got ARP engine mount bolts due some failures. Other than that the same as far as I know.
