I've seen the i/o types, not the outboards, though

The engine is a '99, boat is a '92. I think.

it may have been an i/o and it was converted to o/b. that looks like an aftermarket setback on it and the swim platform definatley looks like it was built to go over an i/o outdrive.
know nothing about them but I would say it looks pretty heavy, Im sure that 300 would make it go reasonably though.

from what I know.
Have seen several up close and they apear to be very well built.
Think they are more of a heavy/family boat than light fast one.
Used to be a guy around here that had a 21 w/a Merc O/B and yes you could order them that way.
Have seen a couple of 26's with twins.
Knew a guy that had a single I/O 26' that was running low 60's as I recall. Box stock.
The one in the shots looks nice.
How big??
Looks bigger than their 21'??

The one in the picture is much bigger than their 21', it looks like the one they marketed as their 265, (actually about 24' hull length, around 26 with swim step). I have personally ridden in both a 21' and the 265 (the 21' was a sit down, the 26 had the bolsters). The 21 had a 350 I/O and maybe did 70mph the 26 had a 502 and came real close to 80mph. They seemed to be a well design boat, just look at the glass work really good, the 26' had one of the lifting strakes come completely off one day:eek:

I did a little more checking on this boat today. I think they call it a 236. It's a 1990 23' V made for an outboard. The setback is made by Armstrong, roughly 3'. Heard the engine run, no rattles. Don't know how many hours are on it. Was a bank repo. Comes without a gearcase. Has bolster seats.(not in very good shape).
Cuddy is very clean though. Cant find any glass damage. Other that a little dock rash. The worst thing is that it has a weel transom at the bottom of the setback. The guy was asking 7700 as is. I don't think he knows about the transom, yet.

Bottom fell apart at the River Roar, Mikey said something to the effect of "Oh no,! not another one" Dad came over and looked and they ended up building him a new boat. Same color scheme exactly as that one. As far as I know he has'nt had a problem with the new one. All that happend a few years ago.
